No-Onion / No-Garlic Recipe

Alur-Dum (No-Onion / No-Garlic Recipe)
Ingredients : Finely chopped tomatoes 4 to 5 nos, Fennel seed powder, turmeric, red-chilly, coriander, cumin, garam-masala powders each 1/2 tsp. Oil, salt, asafoetida as required, Boiled potatoes / Baby potatoes - 200 gms, Bayleaves, Cardamon and Cinnamon for sauting.

In a pan, add oil, saute bayleaves, cardamon, cinnamon and add chopped tomatoes, add all the powders and bring to gravy texture. Now add chopped / boiled potatoes and mix well. Add asafoetida and garam masala powder and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until fine cooked.. Your special Alur-Dum is ready to serve with Phulkas / Roti / Chappathi / Naan, etc.... Specially can be made when we need non-onion / no-garlic recipe....
