Special Garlic Chutney

Garlic pods 1 fistfull
Red chilli 8
Red riped tomato 4
Big onion 1(sinned and cubed)
Tamarind 1 lemon size
Ginger 1 inch(washed and skinned)
Kashmiri chilli powder 1 tsp( for rich colour)
Mustard seeds

Method  : Take 6 garlic pods,cut into small pieces and keep aside.  In a bowl,add remaining garlic cloves,red chillies, ginger,tamarind,onion and tomatoes.  Keep it in a cooker and give 4 whistles.  After cooling grind into paste.  Heat 2 tab sp oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,let them crackle.  Add garlic pieces which kept aside and saute,then add ground paste to it and saute.  Add Kashmiri chilli powder, jaggery and salt and mix well. Cook until the oil separate.  Garlic chutney is ready. After cooling store in an airtight jar.  Serve with idli,dosa,chapathi,etc
