Tur dal-1/2 cup
tomato -1 big
T0 grind:
chana dal-1tbsp
urad dal-1tbsp
jeera -1/2 tsp
ghee for tempering-1tsp
mustard,curry leaf,coriander

Preparatin Method :  Pressure cook t.dal with 2 glasses of water.Take a vessel and add cut tomatoes..boil for 5 min.  In the meantime fry the 'to grind' ingredients in ghee and add jeera and grind.  Add this paste to tomatoes and continue boiling after adding salt.. Now add cooked tur-dal, and let it boil till frothy layer begins to appear. Switch off the stove.  Season with mustard hing n curry leaves.add finely cut coriander leaves! Yummy rasam is ready...
