Thenga Arraichha Kozhumbu. A family favourite. This goes well with keera masiyal and vazhakkai- kuurkkai mazhikkuvarrati and Papadams
Recipe: Roast together urad dall , menthiyam and molaga vettal. Grind with freshly grated coconut into a smooth paste. Boil vegetables like ladies finger, ash gourd, brinjal, drumsticks, Chembu etc. in tamarind water with salt. When all veg
are cooked, lower flame and add the ground paste. Don't allow to boil. Garnish with curry leaves and temper with mustard seeds, methi and red chillies. Yummy!
